Your favorite queers are back and ready to REVOLT! Building on the success of our inaugural #T4T4T Festival in July 2025, we are delighted to announce #T4T4T 4 THE REVOLUTION: A Community Artist Retreat, coming to the Voxel in March 2026. During this weeklong offering, we’re bringing you the queer spring break camp of your dreams through creation, liberation, and celebration of trans joy and artistry. Taking place at The Voxel in Baltimore from March 15-21, 2026, the retreat’s first three days will focus on learning and rest, with workshops curated directly in response to stated needs and desires of trans artists in the DMV. We’ll host workshops ranging from radical puppet-making to making go-bags; from Narcan training to makeup basics; from a writers group to restorative somatics. Then during the retreat’s second half, we will shift our focus to putting learnings into action by making art (and making trouble) together through facilitated activities, culminating in a public sharing.
Where will your donations go:
We are grateful to be selected for a residency at The Voxel, through which we are receiving free use of their beautiful space and equipment. However, we still need your support to bring this retreat to life:
- $2,000 will cover artist fees, including workshop facilitators, featured performers, and designers
- $1,000 will allow us to provide free meals to community members through the week
- $1,000 will support a trans security team to ensure we can gather safely
- $500 to support graphic design and printing to get out the word
- $500 allows us to photograph and video the event
- $1,000 will provide materials, decor, and other needs to help us make the space our own
Through last year’s #T4T4T Festival, we were able to pay over 50 TGNC artists, host over 140 attendees, and raise over $1,800 for the Trans Rights Advocacy Coalition, Baltimore Safe Haven, and CASA Maryland. We heard loud and clear how necessary this space for queer creativity and community was, especially as times get darker and the world gets scarier. With your support, #T4T4T4The Revolution will build on this momentum, deepen the connections started last year, provide resources and joy to our community, and strengthen our community in service of being able to show up for each other as the world grows even harsher.
