Cassi Marietti's Chemotherapy Fund

My mom was diagnosed with cancer last fall. After having two surgeries, three chemotherapy treatments and multiple other tests and scans done, which were all pre-approved by her insurance company (Aspen American Insurance Co.), they decided to change their mind and denied all claims. In other words, they are trying to not pay for any of my mother’s medical expenses. As a result the oncologist will not be able to do the rest of her chemotherapy treatments, which according to her PET scan have been working and have vastly reduced the cancer cells in her body. Even if she qualifies for financial aid through the oncologist, the patient responsibility for the 3 remaining chemotherapy treatments will be $74,400, half of which must be paid upfront. My mother has raised me by herself for my entire 24 years of life and has worked so hard. She’s a local business owner, she has a child development center that she has owned and run with her sister for 24 years. She has worked with charities for years to improve the lives of others, and has devoted her life to making the world a better place for everyone. We have no clue how we’ll be able to come up with this money and my mom’s life is on the line. From the most humble position we’ve ever been in, in either of our lives, we are asking for whatever you can do to help us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
