On Wednesday May 24th friend and pro triathlete Elliot Bach was hit by a pickup truck traveling at 65mph while out on a training ride in Tyler TX.

Elliot sustained multiple fractures, several lacerations and punctured lung. He is currently still undergoing more test to determine and more internal damage.

Elliot is lucky to have escaped any major head trauma or spinal cord damage despite several fractured vertebrae.
