Hi Everyone
Cinema is fascinating. It's a love, a passion for me. Since I was a child, I loved watching movies, I watched movies with great passion. It has always been my desire to be an actor and make movies. Finally I enrolled in the cinema school in Brussels and studied film directing for four years. I got my master's degree in film directing. After school I started writing the short film story Agir with my co-screenwriter Emiel Bachot. The story is very close to my heart and the country I come from! So it speaks to my direct emotional world. As a director, I find myself in this story. It's close to my past. The events of the story are of course fictionalized, but it is a story based on real events and inspired by my own past. I couldn't visit my mother when she was sick and when she died I came back home and it was too late, because they had already buried her. For this reason, every time I read this story I get very emotional. I have a great passion in my heart to make this movie. Even now, every frame of it flashes before my eyes like a movie, and I can't wait to capture this story on film.
We plan to shoot our movie in September 2025 in Almeria, Spain.
But we still need support from an economic point of view. Two years ago we received a grant from the VAF Flemish Ministry of Culture, but this alone is not enough to make the movie, that's why I am organizing this fundraising campaign, to complete the rest of our budget and make the movie. Any kind of support from you will bring us closer to making our movie and we will be able to make our movie. Thank you all very much in advance.
