Help for Glenn

Hi,

My name is Suzanne. We live in florida. I am looking for help for my husbands medical bills from last year. He got an infection which resulted in an above the knee amputation. When he came home I had to do six weeks of antibiotic infusions for him. before it was finished the infection came back and they had to take the whole leg including the hip. Then I had to do six more weeks of infusions. With all that was happening he spent about 80 days in the hospital that was 4 hours away. He also spent 2 weeks with each amputation in a rehab.

When he started having trouble I had to buy a wheel chair and the insurance would'nt pay for because it was temporary. I also bought 3 safety bars, commode and a shower seat that they did not pay for. Told me they did not cover anything in the bathroom. Most dangerous room in the house. I also bought 2 ramps and again was told they don't cover anything outside the house. By the time he had the first amputation we realized he need a wheelchair,commode and a shower seat with a drop arms so he could slide from one to the other. The insurance did pay for that wheelchair but I had to pay to replace the others.

We owe 10s of thousands in hospital copays,rehab,4 ambulance rides to and from the hospital and all the equipment we had to get plus the infusion meds.

Along with the medical fees we have a house that is not working. We had to take doors off and he still drags through. Our bathroom is so small when he gets in there he is touch the wall and the sink and toillet. Its very hard to get from his chair to the toillet or shower. He already fell once.

I'm not asking for millions but enough to pay off the medical bills and hopefully add on to the house or more to buy a bigger house that is handicap ready.

Please help.
