We are the Titanium Tigers Robotics Team - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el5XfRJtl70 of Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Our club is dedicated to inspiring young adults to pursue their careers in STEM roles and provide students with opportunities to develop leadership, business, team building, communication, and engineering skills, so that they can not only jump start their future careers but also make meaningful relationships with each other and others in the community through hands – on experience. The program is open to all students regardless of their socio-economic status or abilities. We fully manufacture and design our robots at our school, however, building a 125-pound robot can become quite costly.

Our mission is to never require money from our students so that everyone feels welcome and wanted on the team, even when they are not in a position to financially contribute. Since this is not funded by the district or school, all the costs, from building the robot to the competition entrance fee to travel expenses, are borne by the parents and supporters.

If you are able to and would like to donate to the team, we would really appreciate it. Our $50,000 goal would help cover the funds for our 2024 season robot materials, tools, competition fees and the travel expenses of the students, many of whom are unable to participate in competitions due to financial restraints. Please note we are a registered 501(c)(3) allowing your donation to be tax deductible.

In 2022, we competed at the World Championship down in Houston TX, and ranked 2nd in the State of North Carolina at our FIRST North Carolina District Championship. We are currently continuing to plan and organize for the upcoming season so we can build a robot that will take us back to the World Championship.
