Support for Maureen

As you know, our much-loved educator and beautiful friend Maureen is experiencing some health issues.

 

In April, Maureen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, her prognosis is good, but Maureen will be unable to work for several months whilst she undergoes treatment. Cancer treatment is tough on the body (and mind) and can also put families under financial pressure during the months of treatment.

 

Over the last ten years at Explore & Develop, Maureen has educated, cared for and loved hundreds of children and their families. We miss Maureen’s warmth, infectious laughter and kindness so much already & we’d love to help Maureen and her husband Tommy through this challenging time.

 

A practical way to do that is to help contribute to their living expenses while Maureen recovers, which is why we’ve created this GoFundMe. We’re a large community, and I know that by coming together and donating whatever you can afford, we can make a difference to Maureen and her family.
