A Perfect Match

Donation protected
When Micheal married Fiona in 2014, neither of them knew they were LITERALLY a perfect match. Like every couple, they looked forward to a life of love and happiness.
Seven (7) years later, in January 2022, Michael was hospitalized, and doctors gave him two (2) weeks to live. This was a grim turn of events since his diabetes was being managed to the best of his knowledge.
Four months after, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Acute Kidney Failure. He needed a kidney transplant and Fiona, his wife, was on the hunt for a donor, not considering the financial mountain they were about to climb.
Being offered the opportunity to be in a pool of donors, Fiona got her medical work done to find out where her stance would be in the pool. She and Michael later found out that they were indeed a perfect match, and plans were set in motion for other tests and pre-surgery procedures to be done.
The couple was admitted to the University Hospital of the West Indies and completed the organ transplant on November 9, 2022.
The surgery was successful. They are both recovering well. However, the cost of Micheal's immunosuppressive medication is a challenge. This medication must run for six months. It is with this challenge that this couple is inviting contributions to help in the completion of this process.
