Hi, my name is Christen Bertz. I work with Miguel at Lake Trafford Elementary School. Trina is a lifelong friend of Miguels. My friend Trina and I are setting up this Gofundme for our dear friend Miguel. MIGUEL ORENGO has been a teacher at LTE for many years and worked at the casino for years before that.. so I know many know him & his strong ties to Immokalee and its children! He has lost his car and his home and everything in it. He shared his home with his elderly mother, whose health is not the best His sister recently returned to help care for their mother. She also lost her vehicle because of the hurricane! Miguel and his family left with only a few day's worth of clothes, and that’s all they have! As many families are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, please keep Miguel and his family in your thoughts. The road to recovery is going to be a very long one.
