This week our community lost an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. His zest for life and silly sense of humor was known to everyone he came in contact with. Steve did not know a stranger and was alway the BAND DAD and willing to assist no matter the need.
Steve was admitted to the hospital in January to battle this horrible virus we know as Covid 19. Little did anyone know that God had a greater plan. His positive attitude and sense of humor remained no matter the circumstance.
We are asking for support for his wife, Corinne and family at this time as they deal with this tragedy and loss. The funds that are being donated will go directly to Corinne to help manage the funeral and medical bill expenses.
John 14:1-4 NIV
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Steven Dwayne Hill, 61 of Eustis, FL went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 09, 2021. Steven was born on February 13, 1960 in St. Augustine, FL.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served our grateful nation for 9 years. During this time Steven served as FTB First Class, submarine service.
On July 19, 1980 in St. Augustine, FL Steven married the love of his life, Corinne Shierling. He and his family moved from Charleston, SC to Eustis, FL in 1989.
He was an avid bowler and was a member of Lake Triangle USBC. He enjoyed fishing, collecting antique bottles, making people laugh and most of all spending time with his family.
Steve touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
