The absolutely amazing teenage daughter of one of my best friends is in the fight of her life and could really use our support. Kristi is a supervisor at Delta and an officer in ABLE.  A few weeks ago, Kristi's 17 year old daughter Brenna was diagnosed with leukemia. The cover photo with the saxophone was taken a few months ago, for Brenna's high school yearbook in Sioux City, IA... The second (right side) is Brenna a few days ago, in the hospital in Omaha, with two of her brothers (Michael & Spencer), who shaved their heads in support. She will have to stay in the hospital -- which is roughly 100 miles from home -- for one month, while receiving chemo treatments. After that, she will face 9 months of weekly chemo and then 2 years of monthly chemo. Please show your support and help the Rice family during this challenging time with a donation. It's the week before Christmas and Brenna's ANC is down to 30, which is very dangerous! An ANC of less than 1000 means that her immune system is very weak. (The lower the number, the higher her risk of life-threatening infection!)
