Scott Power is my brother and best friend. He has a heart of gold and would give a stranger the shirt off his own back. He always goes above and beyond to help his family. But now, it is our turn to rally behind him and his family and be there for him!
While on business in California, Scott suffered from a hemorrhagic stroke due to a large aneurysm rupture.
They did a procedure to relieve pressure from his brain. Then another procedure where they go in a vein through his leg up to his brain and put coils in and repair the aneurysm.
The repair went very well. However, it was a large aneurysm.
It is now a waiting game. He’s not awake or anything yet. Emily(his wife) is on her way there now to be with him. The doctor said it would be an extended stay for him. Minimum of two weeks but we won’t know until they do more testing.
He is currently sedated and intubated due to breathing issues. We will be sure to keep everyone updated as we know more.
We are a family of faith and believe in the power of prayer! So please, keep those prayers coming!
If you would like to help financially, that would also be greatly appreciated! Being states away, both Scott and Emily not able to work, and with medical expenses piling up this family could use all the help you can give! Not to mention their two small children at home and a baby on the way!
