I have been invited to an amazing basketball opportunity and I need your help! I am fundraising for the opportunity to participate in the Beyond Women’s Basketball Summer 2023 Tour in Spain. My fundraising goal is $4,500 which includes my roundtrip flight, nine nights in Spain, meals, transportation/hotel, and my game uniform!

This trip is an opportunity for me to travel across the ocean to play basketball, network with coaches and other professionals in the field, gain new friendships, and see historical places with the club and other college players. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, and I hope that with your help, this can lead to my basketball dreams of playing professionally overseas coming true. After college, of course!

During the Spain Summer 2023 tour at the end of July, I will be playing in four games throughout the week and a half that I am there. I will get to stay in the beautiful cities of Madrid, Barcelona, and Valencia. I will be traveling and playing with teammates, coaches, and other club members against foreign competition - which I hope to add to my resume as a player and student.

Basketball has been a lifestyle for me for as long as I can remember. It is more than a sport to me. It has encouraged me to walk a path different than the environment I grew up in. Basketball has kept me looking toward the future. It led me to a high school diploma, honor rolls, college without gap years, President’s and Dean’s lists, and the sobriety life, and it brings me out of my shell. People that understand any part of my life know that it can be chaotic. Playing basketball allows me to enjoy my youth and have peace. Without having basketball as an outlet I never thought I would go to college, let alone travel to other sides of the world. It keeps me healthy and grants me many opportunities that I would not get otherwise. Basketball is life for me.

Just before my final semester begins in my undergrad college chapter, I will have gained memories of a lifetime all because of your help. I hope that with your continued support, I will not only grow to be a better basketball player, but also a student who can use this opportunity to create more visibility for women in the amazing sport of basketball!
