Hi, my name is Cari and I am fundraising for my sweet coworker Alyssa! She had an unfortunate accident and broke 3 parts of her leg/foot, which she had to have surgery on immediately! She is out of work for 4-6 months and completing her last week of college to graduate in 1 week right now!

Unfortunately, due to dropping down in hours to focus on school, her insurance benefits dropped. They are trying everything they can to work on getting some type of insurance coverage but they aren't certain how it will work out, how much will be covered, and how they will afford both the back pay and the bills of the ER visit, ortho, and surgery.

Now she is recovering and won't be able to "walk" for her graduation. As she overcomes physical therapy to walk again in 4-6 months, finishing school, and getting life back to "normal", I wanted to help ease her situation so she can focus on getting healed quickly. We all miss her at work so much. She is a ray of sunshine and has one of the sweetest souls I have ever met!

Marshall is her husband and he is extremely supportive, but can't work and take care of her at the same time, as she can't walk or get anywhere. (Even taking her dog outside she cannot do with steps and crutches). They moved here for work 8 months ago and had another unfortunate event happen. They got to hotel with their uHaul and the first night they were here, it got broken in to and all their belongings were taken. They lost everything and have been positive even though they had lost everything.

They deserve all the love and support that they can get from people that know them and can help. Their family is not close and she is determined to overcome this, but could use any help at all! The funds will be used to help with medical bills and other bills not being able to be paid having to be out of work and no insurance at the moment.
