On February 14 of this year, I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer that has metastasized into my bones, lymph nodes, and my liver. This has unfortunately caused me to have to request a leave of absence from work while undergoing treatement. This diagnosis has come at a time when I had thought that my life was finally getting back on track after having lost both of my parents to cancer in recent years. During this time my family and I are now dealing with un-anticipated medical costs and lost wages. We are hoping that treatment will buy me more time to enjoy the people that I love. Any help that comes our way is greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
