Jasper has always been a lively, food-loving member of our family, so when he suddenly stopped eating a few days ago, we knew something was wrong. After two days of Jasper refusing food and becoming more lethargic, we rushed him to the vet. The initial X-rays ruled out stones, but the vet noticed his stomach was full of something they couldn’t identify. Jasper spent the night at the clinic, undergoing contrast X-rays to track his digestive flow. The results confirmed our fears: Jasper had a blockage that required immediate surgery. The vet performed an enterotomy to remove the obstruction, and while Jasper is still recovering at the clinic, we’re relieved to share that the surgery was successful and he’s expected to come home in a few days.
The cost of Jasper’s emergency care and surgery has placed an unexpected financial burden on our household. Every dollar raised will go directly toward paying off his medical bills and helping us manage the strain this situation has put on our family. Jasper means the world to us, and we want to give him the best chance at a full recovery without the added stress of overwhelming expenses.
We are sincerely grateful for any support you can offer. Pets may not be people, but they are truly part of the family. Your kindness and generosity will help bring Jasper home and back to his happy, healthy self. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping Jasper in your thoughts.
