Karl's medical bills

Hi, my name is Karen and I am trying to raise funds to pay for my late husband's medical bills and to help sustain me while I figure what to do without him.

Karl suffered from alcholism for a long time. He was an alcoholic before I met him and it took me a few years to figure it out, but by the time I did, I had already fallen in love and married him. We were married for 19 years...some good, some bad, some really bad.

At the start of the pandemic, Karl had a really bad reaction to the first vaccine shot which cause him to go into Afib. He was never the same after that. He lost his job due to the shut down and never went back to work. Once he stopped working he just lost himself and just drank more and more...then I lost my job. Unemployment barely covered our COBRA costs and I've been a diabetic since the age of 34 so no insurance wasn't an option.

Karl drank more and more and lost all interest in life. He watched TV and drank, and made excuses about his health declining. Trips back and forth to the E/R when he would fall down, unable to get up by himself. Then one E/R doc ran some blood work and his numbers came back bad. It was liver disease, chirrosis. 6 weeks of hospitalization, then rehab, then back in the hospital and he passed in hospice at 60 and 15 days old. No life insurance. No 401k. The proceeds from selling are house gone. All the doctors, and hospitals, and medicine...everything is gone. I am still in a huge amount of debt and i would really appreciate some help.
