In September, Andy was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, a cancerous tumor that develops in the brain. The tumor was removed, but the diagnoses is fatal. We are trying to raise money to cover medical costs and assist with quality of life for the time he has left with us.

Andy worked at the Jamestown High School as a custodian for over 42 years. He loved his work, and enjoyed his time watching the kids grow up and help teachers keep classes running. He is retiring, as he is no longer able to work. Upon retirement he loses his and his wife's health insurance. We are asking for our community, friends, and family for help to raise money to help pay for this and other medical bills.

Due to this diagnosis, we would also like Andy to enjoy the remainder of his life doing what he enjoys, which is camping at our site at Top-A-Rise campground. Andy has been going to Top-A-Rise every summer for the past 8 years. With the help of funds, we would also like to be able use remaining funds to fix up our camper and make sure Andy enjoys the life he has left. The camper requires repairs to make it safe for him, including reinforcing the camper floor, reinforcing the deck floor, and provide a better cover for the deck so Andy can sit outside more on sunny days.
