Govinda Das (Gautam Pasumarti) Medical Fundraiser

Greetings Everyone –
My dear brother, Govinda Das (Gautam Pasumarti), is scheduled to undergo liver transplant surgery in Chennai, India soon. We are starting this fundraiser to assist him with the medical expenses.
About Gautam Pasumarti (Govinda Das)
Gautam completed his master’s degree in computer applications and worked in the United States as an IT consultant for one of the leading consulting firms until year 2003.
In year 2001, Gautam met some devotees teaching the timeless message of Bhagavad Gita As It Is. Inspired by the teachings of Bhagavad Gita and seeking a Guru (Spiritual teacher) , he soon became a disciple of His Holiness Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaj, a senior disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
In year 2003, Gautam now known as Govinda das took deep inspiration from his Guru (Spiritual teacher), and made a decision by choice to give up his lucrative IT career in the US in order to dedicate the rest of his life to uphold the values of Sanathan Dharma and preserve and promote the fast declining Vedic culture.
Govinda das returned to India and since then has worked tirelessly to promote the principles of Bhagavad Gita As It Is and self sustained eco farming methods which are an integral part and core of the Vedic culture.
With a mission of "Simple Living and High Thinking" Govinda played a pivotal role in several projects establishing the principles of Eco-Farming, Cow care and protection and self sustained living in many parts of India.
For the past two decades, Govinda Das assisted his Guru and ISKCON in promoting the mission of “Simple Living and High Thinking” by contributing to the self-sustained eco-farming communities including cow care and protection in India.

Govinda’s Health Condition
Govinda’s health started to severely deteriorate in past 2 years. He explored all possible treatments including ayurveda, homeopathy and acupuncture, but nothing worked. Recently, he was advised to visit a world-renowned liver transplant specialist, Dr. Mohammad Rela (https://www.relainstitute.com/) in Chennai, India. After multiple medical tests, Dr. Rela confirmed that Govinda needs a liver transplant surgery at the earliest.
The estimated cost of the surgery is $ 44,000 (~ Rs 33 lacs) and post-surgery care is $ 26,000 (~ Rs 19.5 lacs) approximately. I have attached the relevant surgery related documents from the hospital for your reference. The hospital expects to receive the payment prior to the surgery. Unfortunately he does not have a fixed source of income to cover for his expenses related to surgery and post surgery care.
We kindly request you to contribute towards this fundraiser. Any amount is welcome to help Govinda in his effort to get healthy again.
