We’re reaching out with so much love for our girl, Lucy. Recently, Lucy was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor. After a whirlwind of vet visits, tests, and hard decisions, she underwent surgery to remove it and we’re incredibly grateful to share that they were able to remove the tumor and all of the cancer cells. Lucy has always been the kind of dog who makes every room brighter. If you know Hanna, you know Lucy, she’s been part of our family from the very beginning, and she has brought joy, comfort, and laughter to everyone who meets her. Watching her go through this has been emotional, but she’s shown us just how tough and sweet she is. While the surgery was successful, the recovery has been much harder than we expected. Lucy has reopened her stitches three separate times, which has meant extra procedures, emergency visits, and more follow-up care than anyone hoped for. Because of that, the vet bills have grown quickly and have become overwhelming. We want to help give Lucy the comfortable, full life she deserves.
