Hello to our Dearest Friends, Family & Others.
I have set up this on behalf of Tami Kearns & the family.
As I sit down to write this it comes with a lot of emotion, both good and bad. We, as a family, have recently been hit with devastating news! I want to personally thank you all for taking the time to read our story.
Tami has been battling thyroid disease for over 20 years. This has put her in the beginning stages of acute renal failure. She recently was diagnosed with a rare condition where her body does not absorb medication nor produce the necessary hormones that ALL of our vital organs are dependent upon. There is hope, however, this is her ONE and ONLY shot!
Tami has been blessed with the chance to be a candidate for great medical advancements that will allow her to replenish the hormones produced by the body naturally. Without receiving these hormones and her body no longer accepting the medical replacement Tami is faced with great uncertainty of all vital organ functions, for it’s only a matter of time.
This great opportunity does not come easy and that is where now, more than ever, we need all of you! Her chance doesn’t come cheap! We are fortunate that the insurance covers some of the medical expenses, but the out-of-pocket expense is $18,000!
As we all know Tami, she is truly the definition of a selfless woman! She ALWAYS puts others first no matter what the circumstances! For those of you who don’t know Tami, I hope one day you are blessed with the opportunity to sit around her dining table, as many of us have done so many times before to eat her delicious food, laugh until you cry and accept the wholesome empathy and kindness that she so naturally gives!
There is not a stranger one that walks through her life, for everyone is FAMILY! If you’ve ever heard, “the door is always open,” that is Tam’s house! Let’s rally together and give Tami this amazing opportunity to continue living the blessed life that she shares with all of us because we all know she’d do it for us!
