My mom was an amazing woman who loved all animals and had a heart and desire to help others to no extent. She put her own health aside to help with my father's illness and still cared for the family farm's donkeys and mules. She was one of the strongest and brightest women I've ever known. It's her strength and wanderlust spirit that has encouraged me travel to so many far away places and volunteer and study these beast of burdens. She dearly loved our donkeys and supporting charities that did the same. She was laid to rest after fighting a painful battle with stage 4 breast cancer on Feb 7th.  My mom is finally no longer suffering and is at peace. 

In lieu of flowers and keeping my mom's spirit a live to help donkeys and people, donations are being accepted and will be divided among her favorite charities that not only help working donkeys and mules but they ultimately help those that the serve around the world in some of the most resource poor parts of the world.
