I’m not quite sure where to begin, but we can start here: This is my beautiful mother Anne, and she was diagnosed three years ago with terminal Lou Gehrig’s disease. She has always been the one to help anyone in need and now I think it is time we try to show her a little of what she has done for us. She was diagnosed during her eight yearlong marriage to her previous spouse. The stress of this terminal illness coupled with extreme changes with their lifestyle lead to her divorce. Over this last week her whole life has turned upside down and has left her in despair. Her illness has left her paralyzed and she requires certain changes to her home to help with accessibility and help in her overall comfort. One of those changes is the addition of a ramp and a roll in shower. These additions will allow her to be in a safe environment with the help of her daughter. We have recently received quotes to remodel the shower and add the ramp. We would just like to make her as comfortable as possible, help lift her spirits up and keep that beautiful smile on her face. My mother has always been there for our family and I would do it all for her if I could, but I am asking for help from friends, family and even any of you out there. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
