Dear friends and family,
A disastrous earthquake struck Nepal on Saturday, 25 April 2015 at 11:56 AM with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale. The death polls have surpassed 8000 persons are expected to go up. 70% - 90% of homes are currently inhabitable in rural areas. In an effort to help those in need, by collaborating with my contacts in these villages, I am sending tents, food, medicines and other supplies, directly in the hands of people who need them.
I am fundraising to raise awareness and to raise funds to be able to send these survival necessities to rural villages at an even larger scale, than what I was initially pursing. My goal is to reach areas that have not received any or much help. In the weeks to come, I would like to help purchase materials and gather volunteers to build homes.
I will be personally covering all of gofundme and other transaction fess and most of the transportation and fuel costs. Most of the time, I will try to use my own vehicles to get the supplies to the villages. Hence, 100% of your donation will directly benefit the needy.
I will be sending out photos, logistics and details. Every bit helps and no amount is too small!
