"To lose a child is to lose a piece of yourself."

Our sweet military friends and Team GiVe teammates, Eric and Yolanda Hamilton, had the unthinkable happen on 11/6/15 when their beautiful 6-year-old daughter, Kaitlyn, was taken from them in a tragic accident only hours after attending her Grandmother's funeral.  

Anyone who knew Kaitlyn knew that she had one of the sweetest smiles, one of the most tender hearts and everyone around her could hardly help but instantly fall in love with her.  As a military family, the Hamilton family moved multiple times and thus Kaitlyn warmed the hearts of countless friends and families along the way!

Kaitlyn's family will sorely miss her angelic face, her love of the movie Frozen, and her adoration for her two siblings, Jake-10, and Lizzie-3.   She and her beautiful smile are keeping her Grandma Vickie company in heaven now....

Yolanda, Eric and the kids have traveled from Germany to the U.S. multiple times in the past few months to care for Yolanda's mother before she passed.  And there will no doubt be many financial burdens as they go forward.  In order to keep their family's focus on the healing process, we ask that you consider helping with a donation on their behalf.
