“For the past 10 years, I’ve proudly worn the Rhinos jersey — covering my own costs, taking time off work, and sacrificing a lot in the pursuit of one dream: seeing South Africa back on the World Cup stage. This will be my third attempt at qualification, having fallen short against Lebanon 2015 and the Cook Islands 2019 in the past. Those campaigns were tough, but they built resilience and belief. This latest chapter has been different — the past few years have brought real momentum, unity, and a sense that we truly have the best chance yet to finally make this dream a reality.”
