An Army Hero's Search For Dignity

Your help is needed to provide Army Specialist Timothy Riney with the basic amenities he needs, he deserves, he’s EARNED: his own bedroom, a bathroom with a door, doorways wide enough for wheelchair access, flooring so he can move around.

While serving his country, Timothy was critically injured, paralyzed for life, and now left to fend for himself.

After enduring months of rehabilitation, temporary renovations were required before Tim was allowed home: living room changed to his bedroom, bathroom and shower doors removed, rugs removed. These temporary first steps were necessary but they’ve completely deprived a military hero any privacy and dignity.

We’ve reached out to everyone, including all the non-profit groups setup to help our disabled military; good intentions, words of encouragement, thanks for your service, but nothing else. 

All of us cringe seeing daily stories of how the VA and our political leaders talk but do virtually nothing for those who’ve sacrificed for us.  This is your chance to take a stand.

Donations will pay for a proper bed, bathroom renovations, doors and carpet replacement.  More extensive renovations will have to wait.  This is a campaign to give a disabled military hero some basic privacy and dignity.
