Here is her story:
"I first was diagnosed with MS in 2007 after many episodes of falling down for no apparent reason. I've been under the care of neurologists for 10 years and am now in a secondary progressive stage of MS.
After many years of being turned down to be part of any study, I found by chance a doctor who has had a 78% success rate with MS patients using their own stem cells. My first treatment was in June and right now I'm just waiting to see any result, which could take anywhere from 3 to 6 months."
Right now, Claire must use a walker to get around and fatigues easily. If this new, experimental therapy is successful, it will regrow the myelin on her nerve cells and restore her ability to walk unaided! She may need anywhere from 1 - 3 treatments, with each treatment costing $8,000! As she has already had one treatment, we need the help to pay for it as soon as possible! Please help!!
