I am a 25-year veteran middle school teacher, who is raising my 3 special needs grandchildren.

I recently was recovering from total knee replacement surgery when, on September 26th, I fell. I currently am unable to work and have used up all my sick leave. Now I'm on leave without pay. I recently was notified that I don't qualify for FMLA and will be responsible for all my medical insurance premiums until I can go back to teaching.
