Hello my name is Alisha Akins-Harvey. My sister , Talana Kiambu Akins, ( who is 44 yrs old) is battling stage 4 advanced ovarian cancer.. She was diagnosed Feb 7,2015..I have since moved her to California to live with my family so we can take care of her. It has been a struggle but we've finally gotten her into treatment at UC Davis here in Sacramento Ca. Despite the efforts , we were told recently by her doctor that they feel the chemo treatments ( 3cycles) haven't work . Her cancer has spread and have recommended hospice. My sister is still living... She can walk, talk and still care for herself . She is a FIGHTER!!!! We don't wanna give up!!! But we don't have the resources or income to keep fighting!!! We are looking into homeopathic (alternative medicine ) options. I've also contacted The Cancer Treatment Centers of America (I was told her bill could be as high as 500,000!!!) We need all the support we can get !!! We trust and believe GOD has the final say and he can make all things possible!! Please support my sister Talana as she fights for her life... She HAS a purpose and we are determined NOT to give up!!!!
