Young couple struck while changing a tire

My name is Amanda and on December 17th, my fiance Robert and I were struck by a reckless driver. I had a blowout while driving to work, and Robert came to help me. While we were getting to spare tire from my trunk, a lady driving at a very high rate of speed crashed into the back of Roberts's car, pinning him between mine and his cars. I also was struck and thrown over the median onto the freeway offramp. Robert sustained catastrophic, life altering injuries. He suffered a brain bleed, a broken pelvis and multiple fractures to both of his legs, which resulted in the amputation of his left leg. Both of our cars were totalled in the accident. I had to quit my job in order to remain by my love's side. We have a long journey ahead of us, but I know we'll be ok in the end. We need help with our monthly expenses, such as rent and utilities.
