As you may know, on September 9, 2022, God called home our beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, right-hand man, and good friend, Aaron Sturdivant. Aaron was a great man with a kind soul and loving heart who always knew how to cheer a person up. He was the individual who would call you randomly to see how you were doing--he deeply cared for and loved his family and friends and made it be known. Aaron had deep roots across the country, he was born in Mississippi, he spent his formative childhood years in Virginia, and moved to California at 21, where he spent most of his adulthood. In August 2022, he chose to return to his stomping grounds in Virginia to be closer to his loved ones.
Since birth, Aaron dealt with chronic asthma but he never let it hinder him or the life he lived. He sought treatment and took care of his health but unfortunately, sucombed to the condition.
We have created this GoFundMe to gather funds for his funeral services and eventual memorial. Aaron meant the world to us and there is nothing that will fill the void in our hearts but we will carry on and honor his legacy for the rest of our lives.
