Hi my name is Darlin "Shear" Squire, I'm a Chicago based artist/independent contractor. The past few months work have not been as consistent and we are in need of help from to make up back rent of $1700.

I live with my mother who is also an independent contractor also facing finical turbulence due to a few jobs only giving half payments and going radio silent when the jobs are complete.

We were given an eviction notice and trying to find a new place isn't an option until we have more streamline income coming in.

I really don't want to ask because it feels like a big ask but we have been on the struggle bus the past few months and can go no longer with assistance.
