Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are humbly reaching out to seek your support for baby Mariatou Bojang, a 9-month-old girl born at 39 weeks through a normal delivery. Sadly, Mariatou has been diagnosed with a serious medical condition. She has progressive macrocrania (abnormally enlarged head size) due to Chronic Hydrocephalus associated with Dandy Walker Malformation, and a possible brain tumor in the pineal region.
Her medical report from Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in The Gambia confirms that her brain CT scan showed dilated ventricles, enlarged sylvian tissue, and abnormalities that require urgent further evaluation with an MRI and possible neurosurgical intervention. Unfortunately, the necessary treatment and surgery cannot be fully provided in The Gambia. Doctors have recommended that Mariatou be taken abroad, and after consultations, Turkey has been identified as the best option for advanced care and surgery.
Mariatou is a beautiful, bright baby, but her condition is affecting her development. Without timely surgery, her health and future are at serious risk.
We, the family, are therefore appealing for your financial support to help cover:
Travel and medical expenses to Turkey
MRI and diagnostic procedures
Brain surgery and post-surgical care
Accommodation and related costs
No amount is too small—your kind donation can make the difference between life and death for baby Mariatou. Together, we can give her the chance to grow up healthy and strong.
Please donate generously and share this campaign widely to help us reach more compassionate people.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your prayers, support, and kindness.
Ndey Busso,
Family friend of Mariatou Bojang.
