Hello everyone, I am writing this letter in hopes to raise money for a wonderful opportunity this summer. I was selected by the University of New Orleans to participate in an art residency/art exhibition this June in Innsbruck, Austria. If you don’t know me I am a painter and sculptor. My work explores painting in a three-dimensional form using canvas and bright colors with acrylic paint and illuminating effects. I am interested in creating interactive installations and engaging viewers to experience painting beyond a two-dimensional substraight.  
    I want to use this trip as an opportunity to showcase my current artistic vision in Europe and also explore future exhibition opportunities. I will be visiting Venice and Madrid for inspiration and ideas to bring back home to my studio. This year the Venice Biennale will be taking place and want to visit the international arts convention.  
    I need financial support, I will need money to cover my traveling expenses, logging, art materials, and food. I currently live and work in New Orleans and have some wonderful opportunities this year and need your help. I have recently graduated the University of New Orleans with my masters and find this time critical to pushing my artist vision forward. I can’t do it alone and need the love and support from my family, friends, colleagues and supporters like you.  Please help me make this wonderful opportunity a part of my leap into becoming the greater artist I strive to be.
