Help save Caroline

Caroline came to us on Monday, April 29th presenting symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, and not eating. Her owner elected to do one course of treatment and for her to spend the night because she could not take her home to care for her until she was better, continued below....


Tuesday came around and things were just not getting better at all. Her kennel was full of vomit and red bloody diarrhea. The owner came to see Caroline to see how she was and if she thought she was good enough to take home. She obviously saw that Caroline wasn’t doing any better so agreed to hook her back up to fluids and get some meds in her in hopes of perking her back up. When the owner saw the estimate for the day she went back and forth on it and long story short decided Caroline wasn’t that much of a priority to save. She starting talking about how she would just want to euthanize her so she could stop her suffering. She was ultimately relinquished to us because the owner could not afford to treat her. 

Caroline is still a puppy. A big huge puppy. Shes a blue mastiff. She’s around 10 months old. She has her whole life ahead of her. We want to raise enough money so we could donate to the care of Caroline and get this beautiful girl the life she deserves. It’s hard to find a rescue that is going to take a big case like those so, we want to start diagnostics and aggressive treatment immediately. We could only do so much together as a clinic, so we’re asking for everyone’s help to save Caroline. Since she’s been with us, she’s been extremely scared and confused on whats going on. We’re going to need xrays, days of fluids, meds to treat her, ultrasound, and who knows what else. We need to get her to eat. We need to stop her pain. We need to get her better! Please help Caroline!
