Szlosek Family Fund

On June 22, 2015, the Szlosek family of Kennebunk endured two heartbreaking tragedies in a single night, losing both their home and their beloved son and brother Kyle in a terrible fire.

For those who know the Szlosek family, and who knew Kyle, the news instantly hits home as if it was our own family. The Szloseks have always been known throughout the community for their kindness, compassion, humor and neighborliness, making them- and especially Kyle- true pillars of the community, and just all around good people.

I have had the honor of knowing the Szloseks and Kyle since childhood, and as I know many out there can attest, it's impossible to remember him without thinking of his infectious humor, glowing positivity, dedication to social justice, and unmatched DDR legacy. He will always live on in our memories, and he will never be forgotten.
