Please Help Save Dior

Dior is only ten months old, but she will need an MRI and potentially surgery because the vet believes she has some neurological problem, maybe a pinched nerve?. She has been rapidly declining within a few days. Her ability to walk with her back legs has decreased (unbalanced and sometimes drags feet on the ground), she is eating less and has trouble using the bathroom, which pains us because she is so young and hasn’t lived her life to the fullest.

 

 

 

 

She has been our beloved kitty since she was three weeks old. We initially fostered her but fell in love with her and her littermates. She is an orange tabby American short hair. I love her and her other siblings very much. If you know me, I'm considered a cat mom and will try to do everything possible to keep my cats healthy and happy.

 

 

 

 

We have been paying for her x-rays, pain medications, probiotics, appetite stimulation supplements, and now we have to start her on steroids to reduce her inflammation as we don’t have much time. The steroids will be administered tomorrow and will only be prescribed for two weeks. If we can’t find a way to afford a MRI scan and surgery, she will probabaly have to be put down. These temporary solutions have been expensive and hard to pay for, so any amount to help pay for Dior’s medical needs would be greatly appreciated. 

 

$3,000 will go towards an MRI scan; this will help determine what her condition is, so we know how to treat it properly instead of just giving her pain medication. The rest will go towards any surgery she will need.
