Hi all! I never thought I’d be fundraising but due to circumstances here we are.

5 weeks ago I have adopted an elderly cat from my neighbour vet that was supposed to go to the cat shelter. Lucy is 10 years old and was brought in with the broken tail after being abandoned on streets for over 6 months. Her previous owners who were contacted (she’s microchipped) said they don’t want her anymore. So I adopted her since she is older and what are her chances at the shelter? She’s the cuddliest cat and adapted very well. Unfortunately last weekend Lucy followed my other cat jumping from the balcony to balcony, slipped and fell down from the third floor. As a result her hind leg bone is completely shattered and after multiple consultations, verdict is, the leg needs to be amputated. As I haven’t managed to insure her, I’m confronted with insane bills and this is why I’m asking for your help. Putting her down because of the costs isn’t an option. She deserves to have comfortable life in her retirement years and this is what I’m going to provide her with, despite her terrible bad luck. Any little donation helps, I would have never asked if it wasn’t needed.
