My dad recently underwent emergency brain surgery after doctors discovered a tumor that had been causing severe memory loss and weekly seizures. Before this, his health had been declining rapidly and he was living out of his car. Things reached a point where surgery was the only option.
The operation was successful, but the road ahead is long. Recovery from brain surgery isn’t just days or weeks it’s months of healing, monitoring, medications, and constant supervision to prevent complications or more seizures.
He currently has no insurance and no income, and I am in the process of trying to get him covered, but that takes time time we don’t have when it comes to basic needs and medical care right now.
I’m bringing him into my home so he can recover safely. I’m a single mom raising my young son, and we are making space for him because he deserves stability, dignity, and a real chance to heal. We’re doing everything we can, but the reality is the costs are overwhelming.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Medical bills from surgery and hospital care
• Medications and follow-up appointments
• Basic living needs during recovery
• Transportation to specialists and treatments
• Creating a safe recovery space in our home
If you’re unable to donate, sharing helps more than you know.
Thank you for giving my dad a second chance at stability and healing.
