Support for Brittany and her girls

Hey guys it’s Amanda I am writing to you from Brittany, as many of you already know Brittany suffered a brain bleed and stroke on Sunday June 26, 2022. This was due to an AVM - a small abnormality in one of the blood vessels in her brain that developed and suddenly ruptured. The location of the bleed affected her speech and the sensation and movement of her right side. She has regained movement in both upper and lower right extremities but will continue with occupational and physical therapies to help regain strength, balance, dexterity, and hopefully feeling too. She is able to walk with a cane unassisted so we are on the right road! As far as her speech goes, she has no problem with knowing in her mind what she wants to say but struggles to actually say some words and fully articulate her sentences, which you can imagine is very frustrating for her, for that she will continue with speech therapy. We are still waiting on a date for her bone flap to be replaced. Brittany is extremely grateful and overwhelmed with the outpouring of donations and support. With the blessings received thus far she is able to stay afloat for a couple of months. However, she is still a mother to two beautiful girls and they will need school clothes and supplies, not to mention birthdays and holidays. She is expected to be out of work for a total of 1 year. I am setting up this go fund me for Brittany in her name as all proceeds will be used for her and her girls in hopes that anyone that is able to donate, can do so here. We know that Brittany will always go above and beyond for the girls, she just needs a little help for now. I want to say thank you to anyone and everyone who’s donated, called, texted, stopped by, made food, etc. You are all so appreciated beyond words.
