- My 4 year old son was just diagnosed with a brainstem glioma just a week ago. He has an aggressive grade tumor. There’s not a cure. We have decided to do comfort care to try to make as many memories as we can as a family of 6. Wylie has 3 older siblings, Lyla, Carlie and Frankie, who I had to tell today that their baby brother won’t get better. My husband and I have been at Wylie’s side, while my parents are caring for our 3 older kids. My husband and I are taking the remaining time off from work to spend every second with Wylie. We know he has weeks to months to live and we are trying to start planning for the after life expenses. I thought I had life insurance on my children but it turns out, I didn’t add them, just my husband and myself. This is something we weren’t expecting anytime soon. He didn’t have any symptoms until 2.5 weeks ago. This tumor is growing pretty rapidly. Any donation is greatly appreciated, it will help us to stress less and be able to focus Wylie’s care and his siblings. Donations will used for all of Wylie’s expenses including medical bills, his home care/hospice, medicines and funeral arrangements.
