Hi,My name is Cathy Evett. My Fiancé Terry Riley and I are going through very difficult times with our Health and Finances. We were doing fine until Long Covid and its effects forced Terry into early retirement and Low Social Security Retirement payments. I am also suffering from Long Covid effects.We both have to have Nebulizer Treatments every 4 hours around the clock with 2 different medications. Also 3 different inhalers several times a day.Terry is on Oxygen continuously day and night. I am on SSI because I am disabled from the COPD we both now suffer from after the Long Covid. I have an Urgent need for Help with saving my Home after receiving a very High Property Tax Bill.We can barely afford utilities and House Insurance and living expenses such as groceries and Every Day expenses.We live very frugal but can’t afford the Property taxes.There are now penalties for late payments. have explored all options in our area and there is no help available.My House is owned Free and Clear but we are living on a Shoestring. Investigated a Reverse Mortgage but it costs $15,000 to get one. Please help us, tried everything before humbling myself to create this GO FUND ME. I cannot lose my House due to the High Taxes here in Southern California…All I can do is ask for help during this difficult time and Pray for Help keeping my House so that We don’t end up homeless with our Serious Health Issues.Please help us in any way you can.
