My name is Riane Walton, cousin of Alan. I am raising funds to help our family bury our dear son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin, Alan Wilson.
Alan passed away suddenly on November 18, 2024, due to a “medical episode.” We are grateful for the 30 years we had the opportunity to spend with him.
Alan suffered from mental illness along with other medical issues, yet he always tried his best to be positive and strong. He loved his family so much and always had their best interests at heart, especially for his nieces and nephews, despite what he was going through.
To ease his mental trauma, Alan used his artistic side as an escape. Alan wrote books, poetry, songs, and drew amazing pictures that expressed his fears, his pain, and his love for his family.
Though we are deeply saddened by his sudden absence, it does bring our family comfort knowing Alan’s mind is at peace.
His big smile, contagious laugh, and generous heart will be greatly missed, and we look forward to the time that we will see him again.
“For the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” John 5:28, 29
