Hello, My name is Hiram Ruiz. I'm a former Golf Professional. I'm suffering from a condition/disease called Syringomyelia. It has left me blind at one point , it has taken away my ability to walk but I've battled back to somewhat overcome these hurdles. Now I'm faced with a critical problem. The condition has now progressed into a tethered spinal cord. Which has left me unable to walk again. These surgeries are quite expensive and without insurance I could use any help. I thank u in advance. Surgery is scheduled for October 31st. Hopefully I'll get some mobility back. Unfortunately the tethered is located in a previous surgical location which will conplicate things. There's alot of scar tissue to separate and its difficult to distinguish between scar tissue and the dura or sheath of the spinal cord which could leave me completely paralyzed, partially paralyzed or even death. The successful part would at least give me some ability to walk again and keep me moving again. Thanks again in advanced. I've had Another laminectomy which unfortunately was not successful. The surgery took place on May 7th. I'm back on the surgery schedule for November 21st 2024. It has left me unable to walk at all and the pain is hard to describe it can get unbearable at times. Thank u
