Hi,

Me, my mom and my brother are going to Greece this summer to volunteer in a Syrian refugee camp with Refugee Support.  We are from California, USA. Refugee Support is the organization we are volunteering with. They are providing humanitarian support for Syrian refugee families currently resident in  army-run camps.


All the residents have come from the trauma of war, loss and a dangerous journey. Most have exhausted all their resources. Some are still carrying injuries from the conflict.

We are looking to collect as much in donations as possible. Your donation will provide them with fresh and enjoyable food to supplement the meagre rations they have to live on; much needed clothing and important activities such as soccer to help them now and in their futures.

A donation to Refugee Support also helps support the local Greek community. Your donation will enable us to buy what the refugees need locally, which in turn supports the local Greek economy. This also helps build a bridge of goodwill between the refugees in the camps and the local Greek people which is very important.
