**UPDATE**
Dear Friends and Family,
Please join our family to fast and pray for a miraculous recovery for Syre.
On March 9th. 2024, this family’s life was shattered when their autistic son was assaulted at Jane Reynolds skateboard park in Lancaster, CA. He was left unconscious and bleeding until EMTs arrived on the scene. Syre was admitted to the local trauma hospital with a stab wound to his neck.
Syre's condition is still critical while he is currently in ICU. He is STILL fighting hard heal. Again, this is just the beginning of his journey which will be an uphill battle. Last week, the doctors removed the tubes from his throat area, performing a tracheostomy, inserting a tube for him to breathe into the incision.
With his mother faithfully by his side day and night, assisting the hospital staff with Syre’s recovery, we know that he will continue to strive to overcome this unfortunate incident.
Your support will help with medical bills as well as the financial assistance this family needs due to the accumulated hospital bills during Syre’s time in the Intensive Care Unit as well as moving forward.
I am Syre’s aunt, Monique Brown
Fundraising on behalf of his mother Latasha Van Heflin.
Any donation, big or small, will go towards easing this difficult time, allowing Syre’s family to focus 100% on his recovery.
Thank you for coming together for him in this challenging time of need, for taking the time to visit his page, and for sharing Syre’s story. Please keep Syre, in your thoughts and prayers for a full recovery. Your generosity is appreciated but your prayers are valued and essential.
