Synyer Hanesworth, a beloved member of the Buffalo community, passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on August 2, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, Synyer was a passionate and talented teacher of percussion, known for his lively personality and dedication to his craft.
Synyer's love for drumming was evident in everything he did. Whether he was performing on stage, teaching his students, or simply practicing in his free time, his rhythmic beats resonated with all who had the pleasure of hearing them. His passion for percussion was infectious, and he inspired countless individuals to pursue their own musical dreams.
Beyond his musical talents, Synyer was known for his diligence and commitment. He approached every aspect of his life with a strong work ethic and unwavering dedication. His determination to excel in his craft served as an inspiration to his students and colleagues alike.
Synyer is survived by his loving daughter, Angelique, his brother Andrew Hanesworth, and his sisters Joyce Hayes and Lynn Phelps. He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
Synyer was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonne Hanesworth, his mother, Dera Bell Hanesworth, his father, Esmer Hanesworth, and his brother, Byron Hanesworth. Their memories will forever be intertwined with Synyer's, as they shared in both joyous and challenging moments throughout their lives together.
Synyer Hanesworth will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy as a talented percussionist and dedicated teacher will continue to inspire future.
