Synagogue on The Eitam Farm
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Scott Gross, and I helped start a farm on The Eitam. Our goals are to make this Biblical land into a sustainable, eco-friendly sheep farm that will return these ancient hills to their former prosperous state of vegetation while continuing our Jewish presence. The farm will serve as a center of Torah and a base for the growth of a new community. It is a place where people can authentically connect to their roots while connecting with all walks of life.
We are raising money now to build a synagogue for those who come every Shabbat so that they have a proper place to pray. The new synagogue, which will be a yurt like structure that can endure the strong wind of the Eitam, would host people for prayers and lectures- both on Judaism and agriculture.
Thanks to the five lone soldiers- the two Joshes, Danny, Eitan, and Gadi- for taking up this important mission as their cause in the fundraising aspect of the Jerusalem marathon! Without them, this would not be possible. We will do everything that we can to get the sheep out there to cheer them on for the big day.
We look forward to hosting you on your next trip to Israel out on the farm. Thank you for any donation amount that you are able to contribute.
*Please note that we are not an official 501C3 so there is no tax benefit from this tzedaka donation.
