Who We Are
I’m Seth Pinnock, founder of the UK‑based charity Symphony Collective—a faith‑rooted, radically inclusive movement that fuses Academics, Arts & Advocacy to help Black, Brown and LGBTQ+ people thrive. For almost 20 years we’ve offered free tutoring, gospel‑soul projects, and pop‑up dialogues on unity, justice and faith.
Now we’re ready for the next step: launching our sister organisation Symphony USA, in partnership with New York arts incubator Hi‑ARTS.
Why This Matters
Growing up as a queer Black kid in Birmingham, I rarely saw myself in faith circles or creative industries. Symphony became the “airport for dreams” I wish I’d had—somewhere talent from the margins can take off. Launching in the United States will allow us to:
Amplify unheard voices — queer Black & Brown artists, students and activists.
Build community through creativity — inclusive music sessions, storytelling film & podcast projects that heal and inspire.
Spark social change — arts‑driven dialogue tackling mental‑health stigma, racism and exclusion.
Our first U.S. milestone will be “Tribe 2026: Dinner of Hope,” an immersive long‑table gathering that blends soul music, brave conversation and vision‑casting for justice‑centred futures.
